Julie Sigmon - Omaha STEM Ecosystem
The pandemic has created a new environment in which we have all had to adapt as individuals and as organizations. These adaptations have resulted in a new ecosystem full of new partnerships and processes. Moving forward post-pandemic will require a deeper understanding of our new ecosystems and our roles within them. This session will discuss the use of organizational ecosystem mapping through social networks analysis to help visualize this new ecosystem and identify areas of pride and areas of opportunity. This session will involve discussions and activities to help organizations begin to understand their ecosystems and how this knowledge can impact planning moving forward. An Omaha-based nonprofit organization that has been using ecosystem mapping in their evaluation and planning will also discuss what they have learned from the process.
