Catherine has extensive experience working with public service clients such as nonprofits, governments, governmental entities, schools, hospitals, and foundations. A seasoned certified public accountant, Maydew is also a certified information systems auditor.
Catherine began her career in public accounting and most recently ran her own consulting firm for seventeen years serving government and nonprofit clients in the Omaha area. In her role at BerganKDV, she works with nonprofit and government clients to provide business structure and management advice by assisting with business process redesign, software/system implementation, strategic planning, budgeting assistance, and serving as an outsourced CFO/Controller.
A graduate of DePaul University with a bachelor’s degree in accounting, Catherine also holds an MBA from Creighton University with an emphasis in IT. Catherine is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, Government Finance Officers Association, ISACA, and serves as the nonprofit committee chair for the Nebraska Society of CPAs.
