Jake Kampschneider is a Manager of Network and Community Supports for the Foodbank for the Heartland who works with the vast partner agency network that spans 93 counties in Eastern Nebraska and Western Iowa by ensuring that their needs are met so that the needs of our neighbors may also be met. Jake believes that work revolving around food insecurity is essential, because everyone has a right to basic needs like food. Jake received his Bachelor of Arts in Biology from Hastings College in 2017 and has been working with the Foodbank in various roles since then. When Jake is not working to eliminate hunger in the Heartland, he enjoys gardening, storm chasing, and spending time with family, friends, and his dog Ryder.
