This group discussion will explore ways in which local higher education institutions sought to sustain community engagement with their nonprofit community partners during the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic. Given the challenges of the past two years, how did higher education institutions and nonprofits sustain mutually beneficial exchanges of knowledge and resources in the context of mutuality and reciprocity? Community engagement professionals from higher education institutions will reflect on lessons learned from community partnerships and identify new pathways for promoting equity this shared work. Nonprofit leaders and volunteer coordinators alike will find this session beneficial as we seek to understand how we can collectively contribute to the public good.
