Dr. Julie Dierberger is the Paul Sather Distinguished Director of the Service Learning Academy at the University of Nebraska at Omaha, where she has served since 2010. She received her Bachelor of Arts degree with a major in English and a minor in film and women’s studies, master degree in educational administration with a specialization in student affairs, and PhD in educational leadership from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. Dr. Dierberger has provided leadership in service-learning, community engagement and development, and student leadership development in public and private higher education institutions for the past 20 years. Julie’s research and scholarship focuses around professional development, student learning, and partnership development in experiential contexts across the P-20 educational spectrum.
