Dr. Erin Bass is originally from Calgary, Canada, and is currently an Associate Professor of Management in the College of Business Administration at the University of Nebraska Omaha (UNO). Erin teaches in the undergraduate, graduate, and executive programs. She maintains an active research stream on the intersection of strategy and ethics and has presented her research at conferences here in the local Omaha community and across the globe. She serves as the James R. Schumacher Chair of Ethics and leads ethics programming across the UNO campus, and is currently the Board President for Heart Heroes, an Omaha-based non-profit that provides support to families and children affected by congenital heart disease (CHD). In addition to her academic work, she provides personalized consulting, facilitation, and speaking engagements on strategy, leadership, and ethics. Erin earned her MBA in International Business from UNO/ Wirtschaftsuniversität Wien (Vienna) and her Ph.D. in Strategic Management from the University of Nebraska Lincoln. She serves on the Editorial Boards for the Journal of International Business Studies, Management Decision, and the CASE Journal.
