summit Details

Join us for a full day of nonprofit learning and networking at the 16th Annual Nonprofit Summit of the Midlands.

We are excited to be able to hold the conference in person this year at Embassy Suites La Vista. NAM has been closely monitoring the COVID-19 situation both locally and nationally. If at any point between now and the Nonprofit Summit of the Midlands, COVID-19 trends present an increased risk for safety, we will modify our planning and update our attendees and sponsors. We remain committed to the health and safety our communities.

Our Keynote will be presented by Sean Thomas-Breitfeld & Frances Kunreuther with the Building Movement Project. Sean Thomas-Breitfeld & Frances Kunreuther return to the NAM Summit in 2022 to share their updated report, Trading Glass Ceilings for Glass Cliffs, which focuses on the experiences and challenges of nonprofit leaders of color who have attained the top position in their organizations. It builds upon the findings of the 2019 Race to Lead Revisited report, as well as a previous report on nonprofit executives from the 2016 Race to Lead survey data. More information available here.

Moments to Movements

As nonprofits, we know how to be nimble. The past two years have proven we know how to respond quickly to the issues of the moment and do what needs to be done to help the people and communities we serve survive and thrive. How can we take these moments of individual and collective energy & momentum and turn them into long-lasting movements that make us better as people, as organizations, and as communities. How have the recent crises made your organization better? How have you created a culture of learning? What steps have you taken to ensure equity, sustainability, and thoughtful planning for the future? What can others learn from you?
